Create It Wednesday- You're Appreciated at Precious Remembrance Shop

Happy hump day! I'm bringing today's creation to you from

the sunny beaches of Cancun :)

It's my last day in this stunning area of Mexico, and I wanted to leave a little something special for the staff that has helped make my birthday wonderful. The newly released {Totally} stamp set by Precious Remembrance Shop was perfect for just that!

Enjoy the Journey with CASology

I love to travel!!

Happy Tuesday! This week's cue card at CASology is perfect for me.

I'm currently in Cancun...on my own little journey as I celebrate one more lap around the sun :)

I'm awesomely blessed to make and photograph my card in this tropical paradise!

I always pack some art supplies when I travel and these three red rubber stamps, provided by tour super fab sponsor this week-- Rubber Dance Stamps called Travel, were on my packing list. I usually take a flexible medium like watercolor pens and pencils because I can make some very CAS art or use them get a little messy. This card was made by coloring Red, Orange, Yellow Green, and Green Zig Clean Color Brush Pens directly onto the "carte postale" stamp. A little huff and they stamp beautifully with full, bright color every single time!

Believe it or not, I used paper from the hotel notepad to mask off the words so I could stamp the globes (in Hickory Smoke DI). For blindly lining them up (no stamp positioner this trip lol), I think I did pretty good :) Lastly, I scribbled the Yellow-Green ZCCBP on a scrap of paper, stamped "free yourself" and made a flag. I'm so in love with this card! And I didn't use any filters on this pic, just boosted the exposure---wowsers lol.

It's Ruff Out Here

Ok, so it's no secret that I'm known to take some liberties with the interpretation

of our CASology cue cards :) This week our cue card is: ROUGH.

I couldn't pass up this cute doggie stamp and sentiment from Inkadinkado!

I wanted to do some no line watercoloring this week, so I started with Spun Sugar DI and used Dark Pink and Light Pink Zig Clean Color Brush pens to color him. For his spots, nose, collar, eyes, and the ground beneath him, I used the fabulous, super shiny Gansai Tambi gold watercolor. It took a few layers, but it's so great with the gold embossing powder sentiment!

Look at the shine you get from those water colors! Funny, but I think he kinda looks like a spotted pink panther lol!

Create It Wednesday- Precious Remembrance Shop

What an awesome way to start my first Create It Wednesday as the newest member of the lovely and creative Precious Remembrance Shop Design Team—having some fun in the art room creating with the newly released Totally! Stamp Set. You definitely want to get your hands on this one. Today, I’m sharing some Gelli printing at the PRS blog using this stamp set…yes, paint and stamps do mix!
