Laughter is the Best MEDICINE at CASology

Happy Tuesday! The CASology team has just the right cue card for your week.

I went the direction of laughter as the best medicine :) I pulled out this awesome stamp
from Art Impressions and my Copics and had some color therapy lol.

Who couldn't use some happy pills every once in awhile?? I hope that you swing by
the other DT blogs, the Guest Designer, and wonderful sponsor!

LOUD and Proud at CASology!

We're getting pretty bold this week at CASology with our new cue card: LOUD!

I went with a birdie stamp from Dylusions (they chirp pretty loudly) and a sentiment
that is definitely an exclamation :) I masked off the left side of the card and swirled on some Black Soot Distress Ink. I also wanted to use some pretty loud (bright) colors
and Copics never disappoint-- blending from tail to beak: R24, YR09, YR07, Y17, Y02, Y000.

Pop over to the DT blogs and Guest Designer pages to scream hi to them too!
And help us welcome a new sponsor-

Create It Wednesday ~ Precious Remembrance Stamp Bookmark

Precious Remembrance Stamps has a new release-- it's the {Sketchy Alphabet} Stamp Set! I’m shared a bookmark for Create It Wednesday using this really fun stamp set.

I love reading and have been needing to put this bookmark die to use and the {Sketchy Alphabet} letters were perfect for some multicolored stamping. I stamped each letter in a different color, cut them out, and matted them on a small piece of paper that I colored using the ink pad directly on the paper…makes a perfect match! This was my first time making a tassel too 🙂

Swing by the PRS blog and shop to check out all kinds of awesome inspiration for this stamp set!

WARM Fuzzies from CASology

Happy Tuesday! CASology is back with a cool...well WARM actually...cue card this week.

I thought I'd have a little fun and use this grumpy monster (Monster Morning) from Whipper Snapper Designs with a sweet sentiment (from Hero Arts). The bunny slippers sold me on the concept lol. A little Copic coloring and this guy is ready for some smiles.

We have some wonderful inspirations for you, so swing over to the DT blogs.
And definitely say hi to our guest designer, Angie, and awesome sponsor, STAMPlorations!

Triple Embossing and Guest Designing at AAA Cards

I'm super excited to be joining the AAA Cards challenge as the guest designer!
They always have some great CAS themes and inspiration cards from their DT.
For the next 2 weeks, it's all about embossing.

I used the theme 3 different ways (crazy huh lol)!

I did some multicolored heat embossing on the butterflies and flower, some dry embossing to create the texture on the card, and embossing with dies to make the butterflies and flower pop!
This sweet stamp set and coordinating dies are from Stamplorations- Buttercups and Butterflies.

I hope you can play along and thanks for stopping by!

Bright & Beautiful at AAA Cards

I definitely love bright colors and graphic CAS designs! When I saw the AAA Cards challenge and the DT call, I thought I'd join along and toss my butterfly into the hat :)

Believe it or not, this is a one-layer card...except for the black cardstock! I picked up a new find on clearance at Hobby Lobby- the Sizzix Dimensional Cutting Pad- with a Tim Holtz Butterfly die to lift the wings and keep the body on the card. I'll definitely be using this technique more often!

I'm also linking up at CAS(E) this Sketch #221

Hopefully, you'll give partial die cutting a try. And I'd appreciate all the good juju you can send for my DT tryout :) Have a great day!
