Feeling a Little Squirrely at CASology

What conclusions are you going to JUMP to this week at CASology??

Well I was feeling a little squirrely :)

I don't think I could have gone any more CAS than this lol. And I really fought the urge to color these little guys...especially with the 30 Daily Coloring Challenge going on (check it out on Instagram). The sentiment is heat embossed in yellow on brown cardstock to match the brown Versafine ink of the squirrel. Welp, that's that :)

Go with the FLOW at CASology

I thought this feather from Clearly Besotted's Fancy Feathers stamp set would just flow in the wind and would be a great watercoloring opportunity too! I even used some gold Gansai tambi watercolor paints for splatters and a masked off border...keeps the card completely one-layer.

A Lil Something to CRUNCH on with CASology

Happy Tuesday! CASology has a new cue card that will really 

give you something to chew on this week ;)

I used my favorite Copic coloring technique for animals- dots! I based with E41 and used E42, E43, and E44 for this super cute squirrel from Clearly Besotted's "Nutty but Nice" set. I did lots of masking for his stack of acorns and colored them using the same colors, just the darker shades for the acorn tops and lighter shades for the bottom portion.

I wanted the acorns to look more realistic, so I added some visual interest with a Copic 0.3 black multiliner.

All Tied Up at CASology

It's CASology Tuesday, and I'm giving this cue card a go with some no-line Copic coloring!

This jazzy lady's shoes and bows come from Stamping Bella (The Right Shoes) and the sentiment is from Cleary Besotted (Laugh Out Loud: Christmas). I really worked on this one and truly appreciate all of the amazing no-line work from Alice Wertz even more (you should really see this girl work it out)!
