WARM Fuzzies from CASology

Happy Tuesday! CASology is back with a cool...well WARM actually...cue card this week.

I thought I'd have a little fun and use this grumpy monster (Monster Morning) from Whipper Snapper Designs with a sweet sentiment (from Hero Arts). The bunny slippers sold me on the concept lol. A little Copic coloring and this guy is ready for some smiles.

We have some wonderful inspirations for you, so swing over to the DT blogs.

And definitely say hi to our guest designer, Angie, and awesome sponsor, STAMPlorations!

Triple Embossing and Guest Designing at AAA Cards

I'm super excited to be joining the AAA Cards challenge as the guest designer!

They always have some great CAS themes and inspiration cards from their DT.

For the next 2 weeks, it's all about embossing.

I used the theme 3 different ways (crazy huh lol)!

I did some multicolored heat embossing on the butterflies and flower, some dry embossing to create the texture on the card, and embossing with dies to make the butterflies and flower pop!

This sweet stamp set and coordinating dies are from Stamplorations- Buttercups and Butterflies.

I hope you can play along and thanks for stopping by!

Bright & Beautiful at AAA Cards

I definitely love bright colors and graphic CAS designs! When I saw the AAA Cards challenge and the DT call, I thought I'd join along and toss my butterfly into the hat :)

Believe it or not, this is a one-layer card...except for the black cardstock! I picked up a new find on clearance at Hobby Lobby- the Sizzix Dimensional Cutting Pad- with a Tim Holtz Butterfly die to lift the wings and keep the body on the card. I'll definitely be using this technique more often!

I'm also linking up at CAS(E) this Sketch #221

Hopefully, you'll give partial die cutting a try. And I'd appreciate all the good juju you can send for my DT tryout :) Have a great day!

Commencement Time at CASology!

It's that time of year and CASology and we're celebrating too!

I used clear embossing powder on black cardstock to make the shiny tone-on-tone graduation caps. Shiny gold embossing powder makes a great contrast for the stars and the sentiment, which I stamped on vellum to allow the background to still peek through :)

The DT has some great ideas if you're still making those graduation cards!

And don't forget to say hi to our guest designer this week.

Release Day + Blog Hop + Giveaway at Precious Remembrance Shop

Precious Remembrance Shop has a new stamp set for you ---

the {Sketchy Alphabet} --- and it is a letter-lover's graphic must have!

You should have arrived here from the crafty Rosemary Dennis' blog,

but you can retrace your steps at the links below to keep the blog hop bus rolling :)

I created a card just to say hello to a friend, and it's loaded with colors, embossing, and dimension.

My rainbow "HI"  repeating pattern worked great. I combined this card using the Blossoms Stamp set for the vellum and white embossed flowers; and the Happy Art Stamp set's trio of hearts. I can't wait to put this one in the mail!

Here's a closer look at the sketchy edges of the stamps....adorbs right?!

We're giving you a chance to win it in a giveaway! Follow the blog hop below and the giveaway details and you may be the lucky winner! Up next is the fabulous Lisa Elton!

Go with the FLOW at CASology

We're going with the FLOW at CASology this week! I hope you get into an easy breezy mood with us and join along at the challenge blog!

I thought this feather from Clearly Besotted's Fancy Feathers stamp set would just flow in the wind and would be a great watercoloring opportunity too! I even used some gold Gansai tambi watercolor paints for splatters and a masked off border...keeps the card completely one-layer.

Time to glide over to the DT blogs so see their inspiration for this week. Don't forget to say hi to our guest designer and one of my favorite stamp companies, Altenew!
