TOTALLY! New Release by Precious Remembrance Shop

Unique, fun, graphic, versatile...yep, all of that!

I'm really excited to present my card as a part of the blog hop

for this exciting new release of Precious Remembrance Shop's

TOTALLY STAMP SET!

So think of a 3D movie...before you put the glasses...and in shades of purple, teal, and lime green...that's my card :) The best part-- you can make this sentiment say anything and have some fun incorporating your own handwriting...or stamps if you'd prefer! I went with, "You're totally loved," thinking about one of my brothers (even though he'd give me the side eye if I gave him a card with these colors lol).

Chevron Fun with CASology

Happy Tuesday from CASology! Let's have some fun with a pattern

that just won't quit! It's so flexible and graphic that it shows up

on cards, fabric, home decor...you name it.

This week's cue card is: CHEVRON!

I used the Die-namics Chevron Stripes die to cut a mask. Starting with Twisted Citron DI and working my way inward, lifting and moving the mask, I sponged on Mustard Seed and Pumice Stone DI. The butterfly is from Hero Arts (Butterflies Coordinating Stamp and Die Set) and I added some color using my Copics.

Butterflies remind me of whimsy and dreams, so I think this sentiment is perfect. It's time to see how the other DT members used chevrons in their designs...and I'll tell you it's an awesome mix of inspiration this week!

Painterly Pineapples

It's summer and I'm dreaming of tropical vacations and fruity drinks

with little paper umbrellas in them.

This week's cue card at CASology is: ROW...and what better than a row

pineapples from Concord & 9th?!

I lined the 3 different stamps up in a row on my MISTI and inked them with Wild Honey Distress Ink. I knew I was going for a painterly look, so I misted them lightly with water before stamping. I did the same with the pineapple top using Peeled Paint DI, followed by a quick pass with my heat tool and then some Mustard Seed and Mowed Lawn DIs for a little depth. I swooshed around some Evergreen Bough DI for the background, stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, and glued on a few little sequins.

The DT found lots of interpretations for this week's cue card, so see what they have lined up :)

Copics for Father's Day

Does everybody know what we're celebrating this Sunday??

Father's Day!! I'm blessed enough to have a pretty awesome one to celebrate...
