Just Doodling Around at CASology

If you're like me, a pen and paper and boredom calls for some scribbling. I even named one of my doggies after my love of doodling; his name is Scribble :) Anywho, this week CASology has you covered! Our cue card is: DOODLE. 

Here's my card:



I didn't actually have to take pen to paper for these awesome frames, the stamp set was an on-sale find at Michael's last year. I love the look of them; perfect for this week! I did add my own extra scribbles to the flowers though. Then I coated them in glossy accents :) And it's hard to see in the photo, but I also ran a C1 Copic marker around each frame for a depth...it's a nice little trick for one-layer cards.

    Hey Deidre!! Great frame card!! They are super cute. Which frame did you start with? They fit so well with one another. That pop of color is genius! Great take on the cue card.

      Thanks :) I started with the center frame, then stamped one frame a little off center on each edge, and filled in the remaining, keeping in mind that I wanted to vary the depth of each frame...if I could only figure out how to make videos LOL! Working on it :)

    I just love this!! The vibrant pops of colour in those gorgeous flowers just sets the tone! Need to get myself some copic markers. The shadowing works a treat! What colour did you use?

      Thanks Hazel! Trust me when I say Copics are so addictive LOL! I use either a C1 or W1 when adding shadows depending on my color scheme.
