Time to get ACTIVE at CASology

Happy Tuesday! This week is a good at CASology; we're showing how to enjoy your
day and send some cards encouraging everyone to have some fun.
Our cue card this week is:

I'm so ready for a real spring season to hit these Maryland streets! This stamp set from Simon Says Stamp has the exact sentiments I'm feeling in my soul right now...and it's all active, but very relaxing.
This is about as CAS a design as I could get, one layer and all :)

Hopefully, you find time to check out the other DT pages and see how they got busy this week.

All About PARENTS at CASology

Happy Tuesday! This week, we're showing our parents a little love at CASology.

With Mother's Day right around the corner, I instantly went in that direction.

Every one of the stamps here are from the Simon Says Stamp set "Best Mom Ever".
I was inspired by the colors of spring and thought it would be cool to blend
different colors together in the same rose when I found this cool background paper
in my stash. I used lots of Copic markers for this tiny bit of coloring lol.

Purples & Pinks:
BV00, BV02, BV04
RV00, RV02, RV04

Yellows & Oranges:
YR000, YR02, YR08
Y02, Y08, Y15

Greens:
YG01, YG06, YG17

Time to share the love of our favorite people and check out the DT inspirations!

BELIEVE You Were Meant to Shine at CASology

We're sharing some positive vibes at CASology this week!
Our new cue card:

It had been too long since I spent some time coloring with my Copics :)
I actually masked her off and stenciled the hearts in the background for a little extra something.

I hope you get over to the other DT members' pages to see their take on the cue card this week!

Where do we START at CASology

Where do we start?? Well CASology has some options for you this week!
The new cue card is:

I was inspired by the colors of ink pads sitting on my desk, so I figured why not use as many as I could for these signs :) Reds: Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Barn Door; Yellow/Orange: Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin; Blue/Green: Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, Mermaid Lagoon.

Let's see where the other designers STARTed their ideas :)

FOILed Day at CASology

Happy Tuesday! We're foiling around at CASology this week.

This set is so cute from Create A Smile stamps. I actually used a Versamark pen to create a puddle beneath this little guy and color in the rain drops. Then I applied and heat set 2 layers of clear embossing powder. I placed the blue Deco Foil over the embossing powder and ran it through the
foiling machine...tada!

There's some really fancy foiling going on over at the other DT blog pages.
We also have a great 10% discount code from our wonderful sponsor, STAMPlorations...
use code CASOLOGY when you place your order.

I'm also joining up at Fusion Card Challenge

BUG-a-boo at CASology

It's a new week and CASology is being a little pesky ;)
Our new cue card is: BUG

I decided to go with the meaning to pester someone...just a friend though :)
Other than the little "umm," tag, this card is all one layer. I love how easy it is to make the speech bubbles pop out if you add a little gray pencil or marker to one side of the outline.

Time to see the other DT member blog pages.

I hope to see you in our gallery with your pesky little cards :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

A Little ABSTRACT Art at CASology

There's always something interesting at CASology...and this week we're hoping
you join us in the fun. Our new cue card is : ABSTRACT.

I used some alcohol ink through a floral stencil. I used glossy cardstock (couldn't find my Yupo lol) from Ranger, but I love how bright these colors are! I used Cranberry, Raspberry, and Purple Twilight. The centers are dotted with black Nuvo and Magenta Stickles. I freehand drew the black outline and scribbles to give it a more abstract feel.

Swing by and check out the other DT members' off-the-cuff thinking for this week.

I'm also playing along at the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge
(I used a stencil + Nuvo + Stickles + Alcohol Ink)
