We're peeking into the future and trying to see what's in store for this week's CASology card artists. Our cue card is pretty unique this week and it's sure to stir up some ideas.
I immediately thought about fortune-telling and astrology and decided to use some watercolors. If you want your die cut images (or in this case, just an old school basic star printed from a Word document as a template) to have an organic random coloring look, don't try to cut first then color. Instead, color an area larger than you think you'll need, then arrange your die or template to capture the colors you like. I'd love to hear what works best for you!
You should definitely check out the other DT member inspirations this week too! I also want to welcome a new sponsor to CASology - Jaded Blossom Stamps.

Love those colours on your star. Wonderful effect. Did you use an alphabet stamp set for the sentiment?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Janet :) Yes, I did. It's the Simon Says Stamp Grunge Alphabet clear stamp set.
DeleteVery fun take on the sketch!
